세계청년리더총연맹(WFPL, WORLD FEDERATION OF POWER LEADERS, 이하 세계총연맹)은 지난 2007년 1월11일 설립된 '국제청소년연구원(구. 국제청소년연구소, 초대 대표 이산하<李山河>)'을 모태로 한 정치적 중립기구로써, 세계총연맹 부설 언론기관인 사단법인 세계언론협회(WPA, WORLD PRESS ASSOCIATION)와 전국 17개 광역시•도 지부연맹 및 세계 각 국가의 지부연맹을 통해서 열정을 가진 청년인재들과 함께 사회의 구조적 모순에서 일어나는 위기상황을 해결해 나가는데 기여함은 물론 세계 각국 간의 교류와 협력을 통해 사회적 약자가 소외 받지 않고 참여와 소통의 문화가 확산돼 ’더불어 함께하는 세상'을 열어 가는데 가치를 둔다.

WIC AWARDS 운영을 총괄하는 공식 운영기구
WIC AWARDS 조직위원회는 WIC AWARDS의 운영과 관련된 주요 정책 수립, 조직 운영, 대내외 협력 및 시상식 개최 등 제반 업무를 총괄하기 위하여 구성된 공식 운영기구이다. The WIC Awards Organizing Committee was the official governing body established to oversee all aspects of the WIC Awards, including policy development, organizational management, domestic and international cooperation, and the planning and operation of the awards ceremony.

WIC AWARDS 운영계획 수립
WIC AWARDS 조직위원회는 수상자 선정의 공정성(Fairness), 객관성(Objectivity) 및 전문성(Professionalism)을 확보하기 위하여 심사평가위원회를 운영하였다. The WIC Awards Organizing Committee operated an Evaluation Committee to ensure fairness, objectivity, and professionalism throughout the laureate selection process.
심사평가위원회는 후보자에 대한 조사와 검토, 사실 확인 및 종합평가를 수행하고 그 결과를 조직위원회에 제출하였다. The Evaluation Committee conducted research, reviews, factual verification, and comprehensive evaluations of nominees before submitting its recommendations to the Organizing Committee.
특별자문단
심사평가위원회는 전문성과 객관성을 더욱 강화하기 위하여 분야별 전문가로 구성된 특별자문단을 운영하였다. To strengthen professional expertise and objectivity, the Evaluation Committee was supported by a Special Advisory Panel composed of experts from various professional fields.

과학계 (Science)
본 조직체계는 WIC AWARDS 운영 당시 적용된 공식 운영체계로서 조직위원회, 심사평가위원회 및 특별자문단의 역할과 운영원칙을 반영하고 있다. This organizational structure reflects the official governance framework of the WIC Awards during its operation and represents the respective roles and operating principles of the Organizing Committee, the Evaluation Committee, and the Special Advisory Panel.
오늘날 WIC는 이러한 운영 경험과 조직 운영철학을 바탕으로 세계 우수사례 조사·비교·분석 및 공유를 위한 '세계 우수사례 선정(Global Selection)' 운영체계를 발전시켜 운영하고 있다. Today, building upon this operational experience and governance philosophy, WIC has further developed and operates the Global Selection framework for researching, comparing, analyzing, and sharing outstanding global practices.
